ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Melody Carlson has written more than 200 books for teens, women, and children. My Review:
I have high thoughts of this book, as I did enjoy reading it, but the only problem that I have with this, was I was bit confused, coming in on this Carter House Girls series at number 7. There were things talked about in the book that I was just lost on. The characters were loving and quickly became friends and the plot was great but I just am too confused  on some of the things in this story. I do believe that many teenager girls would benefit from this God filled story. It brings to reality what alot of the teens in high school go through now. Like the previous YA books that I have read, these are the types of books that I wish I had when growing up. They are filled with friends, lessons, and, importantly, God. I recommend this book with a 5 star rating to all the young girls out there, but I highly suggest that you read it as part of the series and not as a stand alone. Well done, Melody Carlson!
