About the Book:
A Miracle for Miriam: Miriam fell for Seth, but he broke her heart. Years later, after he’s nearly killed in an accident, Miriam sees him at a Christmas party and notices something is different about him—not just how he looks, but how he acts. When Seth pursues her, she must decide whether to guard her heart or accept his love.
A Choice to Forgive: Lydia has loved two men in her life. Daniel disappeared one Christmas Eve long ago, leaving only a note saying he wanted to live in the Englisch world. And Elam, Daniel’s brother, to whom she has been happily married for 15 years. When Elam dies, Lydia gives up on ever loving again. But she is shocked when Daniel wants to return to the Order and her life.
One Child: The birth of one child forever changed the world two thousand years ago. On this snowy Lancaster Christmas Eve, another child will change the world of two couples.
About the Author(s):
Beth Wiseman-When Beth Wiseman was introduced to the Amish, she gained an appreciation for their simpler way of life and began writing novels that feature this endearing group. Beth is the author of the bestsellers Plain Perfect and Plain Pursuit. She and her family live in Texas.
Kathleen Fuller-Kathleen Fuller is the author of twelve novels and novellas. When she’s not writing, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and farm pets. She currently lives in Ohio with her husband and three children.
Barbara Cameron-Barbara Cameron is the author of fifteen novels and three nationally televised movies (HBO), as well as a recipient of the first Romance Writers of America Golden Heart. Her Amish stories are inspired by her visits to Lancaster Co., PA.
My Review:
I don’t think I could say this enough!!! It’s WUNDERBAAR!!! These groups of stories relate so well and blend together so nicely. The three authors are outstanding in their own books but they really had it together when combining these 3 seperate stories for this one book.
I love Amish stories to begin with, and I love Christmas, and I was super excited to hear about the release of this book! As with Sound of Sleigh Bells by Cindy Woodsmall, I don’t want to make my review too long, else I give away too much of the book! Once I get started on talking about this book I won’t stop! It is just that good!
This is a must read book for all you Amish and Christmas lovers! MUST READ! It is a book that I will not get rid of! It is in my home to stay! I wish I could give this book more than 5 stars, for the ability to make me laugh, cry, and feel the movement of God through the words on the pages, but, I can not. So I will have to stick with rating this book with my normal 5 stars AND two thumbs up!
Highest, highest praises to 3 amazingly talented authors for a job well done with An Amish Christmas!!!
