A truly amazing, heart felt book! From the author of Christmas Jars, comes a book full of characters and events that will move you to tears, or make you chuckle a time or two!
Set in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, Jason tells of a love that never faded for 40 years, even through the most trying and difficult times. Based on one man’s promise to write his wife a letter every Wednesday, this story brings meaning to the words love, family, regret and trust.
They lose both aging parents on the same night, but 3 siblings are brought back together again. While at their family’s Inn, they discover the letters their father wrote to their mother. Then they find one letter that has one very startling, long with-held family secret, that would change all of their lives. As they continue to read, they find more clues, and more answers, but can one sibling find the faith and power to forgive?
I literally read this book in one day, it was that wonderful and moving! This books is intriguing, magnificently written, full of love and laughter, and one very important message: forgiveness.
I just could not put this book down! It is a timeless story that you don’t want to miss. I give this novel two thumbs up AND five star praises!!!
