Welcome to day 2 of the Armchair BEA!! I love this and can’t wait to keep on keeping on each year they have it. Today we are going to talk about two topics. I’m not sure how long my responses will be, but I’ll try to keep them fairly short so you can move on and enjoy the other participants’ responses! What Do Readers Want?: What makes or breaks a book? How do we rate the books, or determine if it is good literature or a good story? What do we want from an author event? Well, as a reader, I know what I want. On Friday, April 7,2017, my Raleigh, NC Lifeway Christian Store had a book signing for one of my top 5 Amish Fiction authors. It was Beverly Lewis! It was my second book signing in NC and I was so glad I got to go! It was a quick, fun time. She’s super sweet and really enjoys meeting with her readers. She took pictures with her fans and interacted with them with asking questions to them as well. After I asked to take a picture for the blog, she surprised me and in turn took a picture of me with her for HER Facebook page! I was really excited about that. Below are the pictures from the signing. Okay. Long time no post. I’m sorry about that,y’all. Life got in the way, which, I know is no excuse. But, it did. I got married, moved out, and then unexpectedly, my dad got diagnosed Thanksgiving night with Cancer. Having to take time off work to help my family with that, I have some extra time on my hands and can get back into the blogging scene full swing. My cousin is also still going to help me from time to time. If anyone else would like to help out, please email us at reviewzbymolly @ gmail . com . Now, on to the new feature! We are now going to be posting Freebie Kindle and Nook reads on our site. At the top menu it will say Free Reads and then there will be separate pages for Kindle and Nook that will have their corresponding free reads! Hope you like the new feature! Merry Christmas,y’all!
