Meet The Author: Amy Lillard + GIVEAWAY

Today, I’m hosting an author interview. I would like to welcome Amy Lillard to the blog today. If you were stranded on an island and only had three books with you to read, what would they be? The Bible–it’s full of wisdom and great stories To Kill a Mockingbird–I have to read this book every couple of years or so Where the Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein– that man is genius (Great choices! I would definitely have the Bible with me, along with Julie Lessman’s A Passion Most Pure, and Karen Kingsbury’s Redemption) Favorite TV Show? Of all time? Gilligan’s Island. I guess that explains a lot. LOL  (LoL, I love Gilligan’s Island. Mine would most likely be Murder She Wrote, Big Bang Theory or Chicago Fire) If you could pick only one author to have dinner with and… Read more »

CLP Blog Tour Interview: Mad About The Boy’s Suzan Battah

I’d like to welcome Susan Battah to Reviews By Molly in this awesome interview for her CLP Blog Tour! Welcome, Suzan, and thanks for taking the time to chat with me!  Tell us about Suzan Battah. Who are you when you’re not writing? I wish I could say something pretty cool, like I fight crime at night when I’m not writing. Unfortunately I don’t. I’m a simple lady, 31 years old, who loves to dance Latino and Ballroom, spend time at the gym, play with my 15 year old Boxer dog, find fun new ways to spend my time and still looking for Mr Right. Do you have a day job as well? Yes I work fulltime as an Executive Assistant with four very diverse male bosses.   How did you choose the genre you write in and where do your ideas come from? Contemporary Romance is such a fun genre to write in but I don’t stick to one genre as such. I write where the story takes me. Mad About the Boy was developed while I was studying at the Australian College of Journalism when I was 18 years old. It’s been written and rewritten at least 3 times until here it is published…. Read more »

Author Interview: Joel M. Andre

And he’s back! 🙂 I love visitors here at Reviews By Molly and Joel M. Andre is one of the best authors around so it’s ALWAYS a treat! This time, he’s back with an interview on book marketing. This should be excellent for my author friends. Let’s see what he has to say…. Welcome back to Reviews By Molly, Joel 🙂 Thank you for having me. This means a lot to me. Tell us about the marketing of the books. What goes into that? Well, marketing for books takes quite a bit of time. The goal is to get the information out there in front of enough people that they take some interest in your books. This is done through advertising on websites, banner ads and a number of other advertising tools as well. Is it easier to sell print books or eBooks? I think it is easier to sell eBooks. Since you don’t have the printing fees attached to them, you can offer them at a reasonable cost. More importantly, I think more people are turning to eBook readers for a majority of their books since they do take up less space. What is the social networking like when… Read more »
