My Thoughts Ms. Bridge is a new to me author and I can tell you that I loved her unique, quirky style. I’m now a fan for life! I love a good cozy mystery full of twists, turns, and who dun its and Ms. Bridge’s third installment to the Hampton Home and Garden Mysteries did not disappoint! It had the perfect blend of all that and more. I love that this book is centered around a bed and breakfast called Bibliophile Bed&Breakfast! It seems perfect for us book lovers! A rare manuscript,a killer on the loose and lots of decorating to do, Meg finds her hands full in this book filled with witty characters and happenings that is sure to leave you on the edge of your seat while you help Meg uncover the clues and solve the mystery. Following Meg on her race to find the who’s and why’s behind it all was so fun! I read this book in one sitting, turning the pages long into the night. I definitely sing this book’s praises. The theme, the characters, the mystery behind it all, make the perfect cozy read and will capture you from the start. It’s worthy of… Read more »
This book was amazing. Absolutely amazing. The message that is woven into this book, that God’s grace is sufficient through all times, good and bad, is powerful and incredible. It is just what I needed to read. Ms. Afshar is superbly talented and knew just what this reader need to read. Boaz and Ruth, along with Naomi, are created perfectly. I felt like I had taken a trip right to the heart of the Bible and followed their story. Both suffered tragedies beyond compare, both seeking happiness, both reaching out to each other. The way they were portrayed, the way they interacted and fell in love, made me fall in love with the whole story. It was perfect! Ms. Afshar’s book is high on my recommendations list. From start to finish, I was lost in the pages of this book, and I had it done in less than a day. It was that good. This book is powerful and worth so much more than simple 5 stars. It is worthy of 5 million stars. When it comes to Biblical fiction this is the kind of book I seek and I am so incredibly pleased to have read it.
My Thoughts: I haven’t read a good Cowboy Romance in a long time. When the chance to review Love On The Menu arose I jumped on it. And, Ms. March definitely didn’t disappoint me in her work! I really enjoyed reading Jago and Riley’s story. Jago is a super sexy cowboy that made ME swoon reading about him. I loved his quirkiness and charm. His actions toward Riley kept me hooked to the story and I fell in love with him a little more with each page turn. Riley. Now that’s a character and a half. She was created by Ms. March in a way that made me, as a reader, feel as if I was in her shoes. Her handiness with helping Jago with his horses was awesome and I loved watching her and her feelings for Jago grow. These two characters are perfectly created for this story! Each page turn brought something new to the story and the twists and turns helped keep me engrossed long in to the night. Ms. March has a wonderful knack for showing her readers a story full of wittiness and romance. The steam that rolled off the characters as they grew in… Read more »
My Thoughts Double bonus for me with this novel! First, it’s a WONDERFUL addition to the Love Finds You collection, AND it’s a GREATtastic Amish novel! It’s not your ordinary Amish story….I know,I know. I’ve said that about other Amish novels and that’s true for them, as well, in their own way. This one, though, is a really sweet novel written by an amazing talented lady. Serena B. Miller has a fan for LIFE now! Set in Sugarcreek, Ohio, Miller takes us on a whirlwind of a ride as we meet Rachel Troyer, a half-Amish woman who is super close with her Amish aunts and protects them, along with their town by being a cop. Things are going good for her and her aunts. That is until Miller introduces us to Joe Matthews and his sweet, adorable, lovable little son, Bobby. I fell in love with that little boy instantly! Not to mention that his dad was a good character for the story, too. The plot line of Joe Matthews having a mysterious past and moving into the cabin and then the daadi house at Rachel’s aunts’ Inn was fantastic. Rachel’s cautious and protective character really came into view when… Read more »
