Betrayed by the man she longed to marry, Hope Westcott finds herself on an island in the Caribbean being auctioned off as a slave to the highest bidder. Raised in an unloving home and after enduring a difficult childhood, Hope’s search for love and self-worth have led her down a very dangerous path. All she ever wanted was to find true love and to some day open an orphanage where she could raise children with all the love she never experienced as a child. But how can a woman with a sordid past ever hope to run an orphanage, let alone attract the love of an honorable man? Determined to overcome the shame of his mother’s past, Nathaniel Mason worked for many years to build his own fleet of merchant ships in an effort to finally acquire the respect of Charles Towne society. Ignoring the call of God on his life to become a preacher, he forges ahead with his plans for success at a distant port in the Caribbean, when he sees a young lady he knows from Charles Towne being sold as a slave. In an effort to save Hope, he is forced to sell one of his two ships, only to discover that her predicament was caused by her own bad behavior. Angry and determined to rid himself of her as soon as possible, Nathaniel embarks on a journey that will change the course of his life.

My Review: I have not yet had the priviledge to read the first book in MaryLu’s series, The Red Siren,(although I now have a copy of it courtesy of the author and will be reading it very soon!) however this book was AMAZING!!!! It is a historical fiction book that will have you wanting more.
She felt unworthy of herself as a woman. She ached to be loved and love in return. The man she thinks loves her, wants to turn her life upside down. Will she be sold, and her life ruined? Or will she find a second chance?
He’s always loved her.Can he save her from a ruined life and find a future with the woman he loves?
MaryLu has a talent like no other. She can pull you into the pages of this book and you will actually feel apart of the pirates, salty seas and character’s lives! Transportation of a reader into a book is a big MUST for me in order to really have a high opinion of a book, and Marylu did just that with Blue Enchatress!!!
This is one 5 star, two thumbs up book you won’t want to miss by MaryLu!!!

You’ve convinced me. I’ll have to add this to my to-read list.
I read the Red Siren and absolutely loved it, so I bought myself this book for Christmas. The next in the series will be coming out in January and I plan to buy that one, too. Tyndall is an excellent writer and her books are just fun!
