About the Book:
For John and Laura Foster, what began as a fairytale honeymoon in 1857 aboard the steamship SS Vandervere soon becomes a nightmare. A terrible hurricane strikes and the grand ship is lost in the murky depths of the Atlantic. Laura finds herself rescued with the other women and children, but how can she feel anything but despondent without her groom? Suspecting her John is gone but still daring to hope for a miracle, Laura must face the possibility of life alone.

Talented author Dan Walsh skillfully tells an epic story of hope, faith, and love through an intimate lens. Inspired by real events, this emotional and honest story will capture your heart as you sail through its pages.

My Review:
I really love Dan Walsh’s work. I’ve read his two previous novels and fell in love with them both, so it is no surprise that The Deepest Waters did not disappoint! He blends lovable characters, wonderful messages, and a historical plot full of emotions!

From the start, I was pulled straight into this amazing book. I was amongst these lovable characters, and became one of them.  Laura and John, well I could just feel the love between them as if it was my own. Their love was powerful and strong, even in the midst of the tragic sinking of the steamboat they are on.

Through their deep faith and their love for each other, Dan Walsh has shown through his words that love endures  forever. With God in the center of love, it can withstand all things, even if you’re not sure of what is to come, or if you will live to see tomorrow.

With deep emotion and rich detail, Dan Walsh’s 3 novel is, by far, his BEST 5 star work yet. I loved the messages that stood strong in this moving story. I highly recommend that you give Dan Walsh’s work a try, if you are not already a fan. While I suggest that you read the other two novels too, this one is not overly confusing and can be read as a stand alone. Well done, Mr. Walsh!
