A blogger friend of mine does a fun thing each week that I am going to start doing. It’s called A-Z Wednesdays! It’s fun looking through all your books and picking one out whose title starts out with that letter! So for today’s letter it’s “I”….the book on my book shelf that starts with “I” is Deborah Bedford’s If I Had You. I will not be leaving a review for it today as I haven’t had a chance to do a review for it but thought I would list it since it is the only one on my shelf right now that starts with “I”!! 🙂 If I Had You Synopsis: From bestselling author Deborah Bedford comes the moving tale of an estranged mother and daughter, and the child who forces their old conflicts back into the light. Buy it here *Head on over to Reading at the Beach’s blog for more about A-Z Wednesday’s!! *
I highly recommend this exciting and entertaining new story! At first, I was a little iffy at wanting to read this book because I had never heard of this author before and I just wasn’t quite sure I’d be real into this book. But, after reading just one page , I knew I couldn’t put it down! A young single mother who’s running out of luck. An ATM machine gone wild. A man she just met. And a lesson to be learned? This quirky new story will keep you on the edge of your seat with each new twist and leave you unable to put the book down! And have you asking yourself what you would do if your ATM went wild and gave you lots and lots of money with out debiting your account! I know what I would do! I highly praise this book and recommend it to all those out there looking for a new kind of tale with a quirky twist. Two thumbs up to this talented author!!! *Want an extra entry in the Breaking the Bank giveaway? Head on over to the giveaway and post a comment and tell me what you would do if your ATM went… Read more »

Dumped by her husband, jettisoned from her job, and estranged from her adored older brother, she and her young daughter, Eden, have had to make a downscale move to a crummy apartment, where their neighbors include a tough young drug dealer and a widower who lets his dogs use the hallways as their own personal litter box. Juggling a series of temporary jobs, wrangling with her ex-husband over child support, and trying to keep pace with Eden’s increasingly erratic behavior have left Mia weary and worn out. EXCEPT WHEN IT ISSo when a seemingly functional ATM starts handing Mia thousands and thousands of dollars — and not deducting the money from her account, because it sure isn’t in there — she isn’t about to give it back. Her newfound cash stash opens up a world of opportunity, and a whole lot of trouble. Worried friends, family, and in-laws start questioning her judgment about everything, and the cops really, really want to know where… Read more »
